for the post of Bank's Medical Officer (BMO) on a contract basis with

The
recruitment is conducted for the following role:

Bank's Medical Officer (BMO)

Period: 5 Years
(Renewable up to 70 years of age)
Note: The
BMO will serve at the NABARD Karnataka Regional Office (K.G. Road) and NABARD
Officers Quarters (Agrahara Dasarahalli & Nandini Layout).
Eligibility
Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Degree: Applicant should possess an
MBBS degree in the Allopathic system of medicine of any university
recognized by the Medical Council of India.
- Post-Graduation: Candidates having a
post-graduate degree in General medicine can also apply.
Experience
- The applicant should have a
minimum of 02 (two) years experience in any hospital or clinic as a
Medical Practitioner.
Age Limit
- The contract is initially for
five years, renewable subject to performance review up to the age of 70
years.
- Beyond 70 years till the
attainment of 75 years, renewal may be done by mutual agreement on an
annual basis subject to Medical Fitness.
Other
Requirements
- Proximity: The applicants should either
have their own dispensary or residence within a radius of 3 to 5 kms from
any of the Bank's dispensaries at the aforementioned locations.
- Technical Skill: The applicant should have a
working knowledge of computers.

Selection Process 2026
The
selection process consists of the following stages:
- Stage 1 (Interview): NABARD will conduct an
interview for the selection of the panel of Medical Officers. The Bank
reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards to limit the
number of candidates called for the interview.
- Stage 2 (Medical Fitness): The shortlisted applicant/s
after the interview will be subjected to medical tests or must submit a
Medical Fitness Certificate as per prescribed norms before engagement.
Salary &
Pay Scale
- Hourly Remuneration: Rs. 1000/- per hour for the
first three years of contractual service and Rs. 1200/- per hour on
completion of three years of contractual service.
- Conveyance Expense: Out of the total monthly
remuneration so payable, a sum of Rs. 1000/- per month may be treated as a
conveyance expense.
- Other Benefits: In addition to the
remuneration, the facility of reimbursement of mobile charges @ Rs. 1000/-
per month will be provided.

Annexure III.
- Prepare the Envelope: The application should be
sent in a cover super scribed 'Application for the post of BMO on contract
basis'.
- Physical Submission: Send it to the Chief General
Manager, Karnataka Regional Office, NABARD Tower, 46, Kempe Gowda Road,
Bengaluru -560009 on or before 15 March 2026.
- Email Submission: Alternatively, a scanned copy
