Details
The
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is expected to officially
release the result status for the CRP Clerical Cadre (CRP-CSA-XV) Main
Examination shortly. Candidates who appeared for the Mains examination in
November and December 2025 will soon be able to check whether they have
qualified for provisional allotment and the Local Language Proficiency Test
(LPT) / Document Verification round and Know their Scores in Mains.

Clerk Mains Exam Pattern 2025-26
The Mains examination consisted of
four objective tests. Unlike Officer-level exams, there is no descriptive test
for the IBPS Clerk Mains.

Candidates must secure minimum
qualifying marks in each individual section (i.e., there is a sectional
cut-off for IBPS Clerk).
Note 2: Final merit is prepared solely based on the overall
aggregate marks obtained in this Mains Examination, subject to qualifying the
local language test.
IBPS
Clerk LPT & Document Verification (Point of View)
Since there is no interview for the
clerical cadre, candidates shortlisted from the Mains exam must clear the
Document Verification (DV) and Language Proficiency Test (LPT) to secure their
final appointment.
1. LPT Process & Selection
Weightage
- Test Nature: The LPT is strictly Qualifying
in nature. No marks from this test are added to the final merit list.
- Exemption: Candidates who can produce
their 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/certificate evidencing that they
have studied the specified opted local language will not be required to
undergo the language test.
- Final Merit: The final merit list is based
only on the marks of the Mains Examination (out of 200 marks).
2. Document Verification Checklist
You must
carry the original and self-attested photocopies of the following:
- System-generated printout of
the online application form.
- Proof of Date of Birth
(SSLC/10th Marksheet).
- Photo Identity Proof
(Aadhar/PAN/Passport).
- Mark sheets and Degree
Certificates (Graduation).
- Caste/EWS/PwBD Certificate (if
applicable) in the prescribed format.
- 10th/12th Marksheet showing the
local language studied (for LPT exemption).
3. Common LPT Format
- Reading & Writing: If not exempted, you will be asked to read a paragraph
from a local newspaper or write a short passage in the opted state local
language to prove your basic proficiency.

- Visit the official website: Go to ibps.in.
- Navigate to CRP Clerical: Click on the "CRP
Clerical" tab on the homepage.
- Select Recruitment: Click on "Common
Recruitment Process for Clerical Cadre XV".
- Click the Result Link: Look for the link "Result
Status of Online Main Examination for CRP-CSA-XV".
- Login: Login by entering your
Registration Number/Roll Number and Password/Date of Birth.
- Result: After login, you can view your
qualifying status and provisional bank allotment.
